The hero of this smoothie would have to be honeydew melon. Honeydew melon has a high water content and potassium levels. This could potentially make honeydew melon effective at maintaining healthy blood pressure levels. As honeydew contains both vitamin C and copper, they promote healthy skin by aiding collagen production and tissue repair.

VITAMIN C - 1-cup serving of honeydew will provide about half of your daily vitamin C needs. Vitamin C can also boost your immune system so you can help prevent illness and infection. It strengthens your tissues, such as your blood vessels and bones, and promotes brain function.

I have also added a banana to this smoothie. Banana will add an element of sweet creaminess, and bananas help overcome depression due to high levels of tryptophan, which is converted into serotonin - known as the happy-mood brain neurotransmitter. Bananas also aid with digestion, and act as a prebiotic - stimulates good bacteria in the bowel. Bananas are also high in potassium, strengthens your blood & can relieve anaemia with the added iron.
